I love that National Novel Writing Month starts the day after Halloween because Halloween is the perfect night to stay up until midnight to start a new novel. A couple scary movies, a LOT of leftover candy, a little craziness in the air...
This year I have a new NaNo account. Instead of "Trilogy," I'm "KatieVanArk." I also have an awesome group of NaNo buddies because the entire first and second list Swoon Reads authors are teaming up for some November writing fun. You can get all the info to follow along with us (or better yet join us) on this journey here.
Since I only managed a few hundred words during my midnight word run, I'm off to do some noveling...
P.S. - If you've had your nose stuck in a good book and haven't heard of NaNo yet, click their logo on the left to learn more.
Reflections on Writing
I love few things better than a bottomless to-read list of books and firmly believe the world has room for all the stories we want to share. This blog is intended to provide resources and spark discussion about improving writing. Opinions are my own and not intended to discredit anyone else's work, only to open conversation. Thanks for reading!
