Bio
Growing up less than a block from the public library, I've always loved books and managed to survive a childhood of crossing the street while reading. I learned to skate as an adult and to write after that and am a firm believer that it's never too late to follow your dreams. A former librarian, I now split my time between writing and teaching elementary school. Born and raised as a Michigander, I currently live in Ontario with my husband and our two daughters and three cats. I am a proud member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and graduate of Alma College, Grand Valley State University, and Vermont College of Fine Arts.
